Ok...ill be the Jackwagon driver here....for the "occasional" mill job and the everyday firewood need....I'm picking up the 385/390.
With a 28-32" well filed chain that saw is wicked nimble, smooth, powerful and can be run all day long by an average size/strength guy....running a 395 all day long takes a brute strength kinda guy.

I tend to agree. If milling more than half the time then 394/5 is better. I've milled some with a 385 and 390. Mileage isn't great but they'll pull a 36" bar on a 30" mill fine.

Say you get that one big log of 35-40"+, you'll want that extra torque of the '94.
