.325 Stihl chain?

Geeze I guess. I almost feel stihl-stupid, spending that kinda money on a .325 chain for a 50 cc saw. I very rarely run my 50 cc saws.

Always falling/limbing/bucking with 60-67 cc ported saws. Then falling/stumping bigger stuff with a ported 81 cc saw all equipped with 3/8 exl.

Here's another example:
$29.99 for a 93 drivelink, c83 chain with free shipping. WTF, this rs pro better cut good.

Yea , that C83 is one of the chains you don’t need to touch up outta the box before you use it.

I’ve ran 23 rs pro for years on my 271 as it was the only saw I owned and really can’t complain about it at all, holds an edge, sharpens well. In my area atleast it costs the same as any other brand if not cheaper I think like $23-25 CAD for a 72?dl loop

RS pro has only been on the market here for a couple years. It’s narrow kerf. I’ve run a fair bit of the standard RS in .050 ga though

Didn’t mean that. I didn’t know if it had been in Canada for awhile. Still hard to find in the US.

Just to clarify is this the chain in question? It looks the same as I’ve always known it. It says $30 but my dealer does buy one get one half off.
Maybe regular rs has always been called that here?

I wonder if your dealer has some old stock. I for sure can’t get that stuff in the 100’ roll.

This is the only new unused loop I could find handy. I’ll look next time I’m at the dealer but I’m sure it’s still current. He’s the closest we have to a saw shop in 20 miles so I can’t see him keeping stock in a common size/dl

Yeah that’s regular RS. RS pro has a goofy raker that doesn’t look like any other

I made an error. The last pics were on .058 25rs for when the bar gets worn (bottom) top is 23 rs pro. I never compared before but there is a difference in the rakers

I didn’t know the difference obviously. I just assumed it was a replacement for regular RS in Stihl’s naming. Perhaps I could get the regular RS .325 in a 100’ roll.
