So I got a few ideas of what I could do before I spin this up. But what is most commonly done?
I get the thinning, not sure how much though

If you want to adjust the ride height or make an adjustments to the chassis shape it is easier without the other parts in the way, the same holds true for the cutter/raker/gullet, all are more accessible for machining and alternate methods of holding when the chain isn’t fully assembled, also easier to make measurements of single pieces

Yes they do. I got some old square skip off eBay a couple years ago. Stuff is as good as Stihl or better in all departments
