Don't know. Plus there's been at least three different jugs used during the 262's production run.

I'll check when I get home. The one on the bench has the non decomp cylinder and 87 carb. I'm putting a Meteor in it. Get back to you a little later.

I used Meteor pistons on my 262 builds, had to sand the squish band on both KS and 48ZN15 jug, squish was 0.008-0.010" on plastigauge reading.

So if there is that much variable in diameter then five thou in height above the pin center isn't that out of line.

Tolerance for diameter will be in the 10's and 100's of thousands.
.005 is not in spec so they changed it for some reason, gasket or something

I had to clean up his cylinder, new meteor. Gasket deleted it squish was like .010.
Used roof flashing as gasket.

Checked the squish on my KS cylinder. No gasket and .022 solder. Here are the results.
