Season is approaching and we took delivery last month, been gettin it dialed out

Flywheel is still attached to crank on that 1/2, trying to get that off, truer tapping crank end with punch to vibrate, and stud with nut protecting end of crank. No luck

Most of the cranks I've come by are M10 x 1.0 thread. Grab a few nuts and twist them in the crank leaving some space between the flywheel. Keep out past the treads. Heat the flywheel with a torch and don't get the recoil springs red hot, if equipt, or remove them first. You can get much more leverage than with a punch and can do as one person. I bought the actual crank knocker tool for husky. It's absolutely amazing that they didn't devise a simple way to remove a flywheel like Stihl did.

If you woulda left the saw together, you don't really even need to hold the saw up by the flywheel. You can wack the crank from the side and the inertia will pop the flywheel.
