I have 1 288 that is perfect except the cases, but I probably won't ever restore that 1, I have another perfect 1 and if in paint it I won't use it.

Glad you've caught the rebuild bug. I think a lot of us enjoy these simple rebuild/resto threads. I for one enjoy the mental break from thinking about porting theory.

Throw the whole assembly in the freezer overnight. Next day, heat up the case with a torch or heat gun (avoiding the crank/bearing) and the crank and bearing should slip out with the tap of a (rubber) hammer. Don't concentrate the heat strictly around the bearing recess - spread the heat to the surrounding areas of the case as well.

Flywheel is still attached to crank on that 1/2, trying to get that off, truer tapping crank end with punch to vibrate, and stud with nut protecting end of crank. No luck

You could try the same process - put it in the freezer, then when cold, heat the flywheel, apply slight prying pressure with a screwdriver between the case and flywheel, and a sharp rap on the end of the crank to pop the flywheel off.
