Beautiful hob on the masonry work.

Most of it was done by an old Italian mason here in town. Great guy. I just didn't have the time with all the tree work. We designed it together and he did most of the work. I hauled a chitload of stone off the mountain for it!! Not veneer either, it's cased in big natural stone. The keystone above the oven door weighs at least 80bs or so....

Fossils all through this stuff, its cool as heck....

Nicest one I've ever seen. Definitely Keystone built, Keystone proud. Nice cut job on the mantle and top cap. Looks to be the same stone.

Looks like you been practicing Mr. Dan. Beautiful piece. Was that a laminated block you turned down? The coloring is just the opposite of that red elm you showed me. Keep up the good work.

That was a cutoff piece of the 2 1/2" slab I made my bench from. I did burn the rim on that one.
