As mentioned, timed builds from unpacking to cutting would be entertaining.

From a novice builder I'd say two approaches are needed;

1) parts that will more than likely fail and possibly destroy the saw should be swapped for good quality parts.

2) build the saws as they are supplied. If they fail, they fail. Fun to watch if it's not yours and keeps any sort of mods to a minimum. Bump compression too much and destroy a pin bearing. You get the point.

All I know is I'm not eager to build a saw knowing that a few weak internals could ruin my saw. I'd like to build one right, spend a few bucks just to give it somewhat of a life.

What's in the box is a carb that don't work for chit, a chain adjuster that won't adjust, a wrist pin bearing that bound to fail, and a set of circlips that are soft as butter. You sure we should just use what's in the box?
I thought we already had that stuff minus the chain adjuster ok'd to switch?

I have had a couple am wrist pin bearings fail in short order,along with the clutch and a few coils but it was the plug wire on 2 of the 3 coils.
Never had any problems with am crank bearings and seals.
