Thanks to your posts on the old fourm

I now know why people like these saws!!!
I really like them. I won't hardly pick up a 90cc saw now except to mill. I run a 34" on my 046 and that's enough. 7900 will do it but it doesn't have a wrap handle. It's going to be built for play soon any way

Anyone got any detailed info on the 066 red light swap to an unlimited coil?

I know it was discussed else where somewhere else but it got confusing

From memory I need to use either a dual key alloy flywheel or a polly flywheel.

The polly flywheel needs the bigger crank fitted, which needs a later model longer case fitted, so I might as well just get an MS660

I want to keep the red light with its original low volume short case so will the dual key alloy flywheel fit the small shaft crank that's in it now?

I also recall reading somewhere that the red light flywheel would work with the red light and unlimited coil, or was it the dual key flywheel would work with both coils?

I cant remember.

I really can't take the vibes of a 64/66 for long at all. The 46 or 7900 is strong enough I don't really notice a power loss with the 34".
