Thanks, it surprised me.
The 036 loves to be tickled. As a matter of fact the 0 series saws in general love to be ported. There were exceptions where some saws came from the assembly line hotter than others, for sure...but the majority love a port job.

I thought the little carb and intake boot would hold it back but it seems to be up to the job.

@Wonkydonkey does yours put out a lot of oil? This one puts out a ton, I don't know if you noticed but it the video you can see the spray and my muffler smoking at the end from oil on it.

No. I put a farmatec one on, due to the oem leaking. It works but I’m happy it’s not full of oil enriched sawdust around the pump. I even thought about modding the oil pump or putting the oem back on

edited auto correct moving should have been modding

I never completely took out the baffle, I just drilled 2 extra holes in it 3/8 (9mm) iirc.
But I did enlarge the outlet more ;) on the farmatec ex

edit we didn’t have the same std oem exhaust fitted

On this one I drilled two aprox 3/4" holes in the front part of the baffle and added a 3/4 pipe outlet. I don't have a pic but it's like this one from my 036 hybrid.

Resized_20211217_200631.jpeg Man you guys I'm loving this thread! ..found a spankin new OEM 034 super cylinder and piston. Going on a 036pro case. Its gonna be nice not having to use the 461 on everything once they're on the ground. This it my version of opening up the muffler..then I cleaned up the saw, pulled the straight gassed/thrashed cylinder and piston..

Just had to see if I could do it on the junk 036 pro cylinder so I drilled the hole in to the transfer from the outside so I could get in there with my Grinder..then I tig welded up the access..and groundResized_20211231_141152.jpeg the weld gone

Don't forget your other exhaust bolt. 034 super cylinders run good!
