You don’t need a clutch bearing at full throttle.

Did you paint or dye the covers.
Btw. Looking good, and happy waiting for the vid.![]()
I've never added anything but dye. If it simmers for 2 hours it'll go maybe 1/3 of the way through from each side. I'd bet at 3 or 4 hours it'll be one solid color. I do it on the turkey fryer in the garage. Once it barely starts to boil I turn it down. I slightly melted the 1st piece I tried with the flame too high. It just needs to be steaming a littleI dyed with black clothing dye. Got the idea from a couple of fellas on the site. @huskihl
If you think about doing it the water has to be pretty darn hot. Basically a low boil.
A little vinegar or salt added to the pot helps set the color in the plastic as well.
EDIT: yes, vids to come.

Funny you say that, first thing I noticed.IDK but if you stare at it, the recess where the bar nuts go, stands up and the word stihl recesses down in. Yes I’m sober as a church mouse lol
To each their own. I personally absolutely love the screamin’ demon type of saw. Also very fond of firewood less than 8 inches in diameter. Same fire with less back pain...
This saw is using an 044 intake boot. Throttle response with the 194 carb should be ok, but not like with the smaller boot.
This is another dual purpose build. An 044 carb can be swapped in and the saw can be turned up for fun.
Just a Stihl MOFO 026 running at 15143 RPMs. Still room for more.
