Anybody else seeing the wild ass optical illusion on the clutch cover?

I noticed it.
I believe it may be the result of a new custom paint process called oliveoilcoat.
Way tastier than powdercoat.

I don't know about you guys, but this 026 is exhausted.

Port matching done with old cylinder. I didn't want to screw up Al's prety port polishing.

I don't know if it's been done before to help brighten up plastics, but I had an idea and it seems to help.

I had done a Euro mount on a ram's head a while ago. It was recommended to use hair bleach with peroxide to whiten the bone.

I saved a bit of that and got it pretty hot on the stove and then threw some of the plastics in. They look a ton better than before.

This air filter cover was pretty pathetic looking before.

Well, I posted in a totally different thread and have no idea how. Lol.

So, here is the semi finished product. More work to do soon. It's going to get an 044 carb and intake along with a v-stack and foam filter.

It's alive. Started on around the 7-8th pull. Can't put it in wood yet. Don't have a needle bearing for the clutch.
