The eliminator was an aftermarket kit. I believe Husqvarna bought the patent or rights from them for there high tops. @jacob j. or @Eccentric should would have more info about them. I believe that they also had the kits for 61/66/266/268 and 272.

Here was my 181 thin ring with the blue top cover "eliminator kit" and my 288.288 181.jpg

filters are overrated, my saws use a pre-burn mechanism so that any saw chips that are headed to the carburetor intake are ignited before entry and provide additional fuel for combustion

I see the wifey eliminator kit under the shelves. Might be shy a few cartridges.....?

I will say it is nice to be able to go into any motorcycle specialty store and buy K&N, Unifilter and a bunch of different filter options, as well as oil and cleaner.
You sell all those filters??
