I know we've beat talkin about filters to death. But I thought it might be useful to post up some of the available options for 2" v-stacks. I've used green weenies and these red 2 stage uni's

Thanks for your help. I found a few on eBay in different sizes. I'm wondering if I couldn't fit one under the "darth Vader" helmet of a Dolmar HD filter cover. I'd have to figure out a way to mount it. The stock one has a flange that I'd have to incorporate somehow.

Sorry to sidetrack your quest.

Not side tracking, we can discuss fitment on different saws too

Is there any difference in the green or red "micron" wise? Didn't know if one was more porous than the other. ..

Used this one and the outerwear cover linked at the bottom of the page:
http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?prod=R-1100

I have put several tanks of fuel through the saw and its still spotless under the outerwear cover.
I believe you could run one of these filters 7 days a week and clean it once every month.
For me as a firewood hack it will be removed and cleaned once a year

Bought a chinese cover to chop up and made a bracket that bolts on between the V Stack and carb to allow me to bolt the cover on from the top.
Works perfect!
