Yes, that is the one I'm using. Part number UP-4200ST.

The standard 288 filter neck sits at quite an angle. I measured it once and iirc it was almost an half inch from front to back.

The eliminator was an aftermarket kit. I believe Husqvarna bought the patent or rights from them for there high tops. @jacob j. or @Eccentric should would have more info about them. I believe that they also had the kits for 61/66/266/268 and 272.

Here was my 181 thin ring with the blue top cover "eliminator kit" and my 288.

Pretty similar, I just like the positive clamping of the rubber base.

filters are overrated, my saws use a pre-burn mechanism so that any saw chips that are headed to the carburetor intake are ignited before entry and provide additional fuel for combustion

It barely grabs the v stack, gunna have to open it all the way up and drop the filter down

Not much room in here. So, would a 288 elbow fit and give me more height to put the stack on?

Better get that tygon impulse switched out. I used it on the 7900 and it melted off in the middle of milling

It was all I had that fit. I do have better thick fuel line now.

This saw probly won't make much more than 3-5 cuts at a time anyway
