wet grass is hell on blades, deck, belts and wallet i clean mine out every time and done and try to mow when the grass is dry.

ayp/craftsman/Husqvarna seen one seen them all.
tell that owner to cut it when it is dry or tell him to apply 2-3 coats of graphite paint on the underside of the deck.

What happened to these husky 350 bearings. ...they look cooked with out being burnt....just on the top? Side of the bearing...or bottom....I can't remember.

1184 sealant, lots of oil in the gas... had likely multiple air leaks... caught it before meltdown...

Geez, what is that chocolate mocha coating on those bearings? Were they stuck on the crank and spinning in the case?

nope and nope. the bearings are completely fine, and as far as I can tell not spinning in the case. the weirdness you see is only on one side of the seals...ie...the other half looks fine... and they are identically damaged

Ya...I'm stumped. ...I'll try the 1184 again and see how it goes...but who knows. You'd think if the 1184 ate the rubber...it wouldn't be so uniformly ununiform...lol
