Deflector: 503 07 83-01 I have over 600 of them in the warehouse, how many do you want? $17.99 EA.

The deflector I used was part number 5035899-01. I thought that they fit the 288 but maybe I don't remember right. I have one of the deflector that you listed. They are smaller than the 503589901.

On a side note guess a should have saved that 288 deflector as they are NLA. Does anyone know if there are aftermarket 288 deflectors available?

They are still available. Just got off the phone with my dealer and they are in stock. 17.99 retail and my cost is 14.19. 3 to 5 days.

Im sorry but 18 bucks for a deflector is too dam expensive. I will make my own or buy red97s. To me the whole muffler should be 30 bucks. You know dam well husky buys them from china so why not buy or make them cheaper for us.

But, at the end of the day when you need it: Joe has it. Not only does he have it; it is in stock, on hand and ready to ship. If that ain’t good enough for you, well then keep shopping Fee-Bay and wait on your parts.

So after re-reading that I have come to the conclusion that it came off a WHOLE lot harsher than what I meant. @smokey7 i apologize for applying too much “azzhole” to that response.
