I use SuperLube clear silicone grease, just because it's what's hanging around. I keep it around for guns, fishing tackle, and whatever needs a dab'll do ya.

I think it's NLGI #2 or #1

Crikey, we really have started a 'grease thread'.

I've got some red rubber grease that I use (especially on 'O' rings in plumbing), but I really don't like the heavy red color. Everything I touch seems to end up with red dye on it.

I use a can of some old grease I found out in a pumping shed out 'Back of Bourke' in the Western Region of NSW. The stuff is probably more that 50 years old and has a thickness that seems to be missing from modern greases.

Their are cars that have muffler bearing now....the skyline and infinity’s have two stage mufflers that open at rpm...so muffler grease is a real deal now! Lol I think many other cars have them now as well
Bikes have had valves in there for a while now. No grease though. LOL!
