How about a 1 saw plan? I really only have my ported MS261CM-VW. I will add a 462 when they become available but am thinking I need another 261 to make it a 3 saw plan. Don't think I will ever need larger than a 70cc size, if I start talking about another 90cc and I haven't won the lotto some one smack me...

I have been eyeing up these 261's they seen to really like a muffler mod and timing advance!

They mean business. Great little all around saw. Fantastic RPMs for limbing, plus little stuff like captive bar nuts and easy restarting is great in the woods. Even stock mine pulled 3/8 chain on a 16" bar very nicely in oak. Never did any mods myself before sending it to Scott, but I'm sure they would have made a nice difference. Obviously now it's quite a bit saucier. :)

I find myself using my MMWS 261 Ver II a lot, almost seems foolish to limb with anything heavier (just tires you faster), and it works so well for small and medium bucking you often just don't put it down.

I run 18" 3/8 square file on it, seems perfect for it.

I still prefer the larger saws for the larger bucking, especially in the harder woods, and I'll take a 90+ cc saw for milling every day of the week, even though in the past I did a lot of it with my 441 and 044, both were bone stock!

Run a 18” 3/8 on my 2253 as well. 325 is faster but I like the longer lasting 3/8 for work.

That's nine so there's three three saw plans right there
