Do three-saw plans still exist on here?

Different days, different plans here, and I like having the right tool, it sucks when you work for someone and they've got nothing

You can remove a fence panel with a grease gun and a plug spanner, it's not much fun though

I can’t stand that, it’s hard working without your own tools! I have only been to two peoples Houses that had really good tools, one had been collecting and buying snap-on tools for 30+ years!! And the other is a welder friend, he had a nice collection of tools! Most of the time I a helping friends I bring some of my tools so I don’t suffer too bad!! Lol

I'm usually fine with 3 or 4 saws, but which ones depend on what I'm expecting. Most times, I don't need a 90 cc saw, but when I drop something really big, I will likely bring several of them, along with some others for the medium stuff and for limbing.

I really like using the 50 cc saws for limbing, they are really light and not anemic at all (I have both a MOFO 026 and a MMWS 261 C Ver II).

Today I had the 261 w/18"; 360 w/20"; 044 w/20" and Hybrid with 28". No matter what I had to do, I had a saw for it!

I too love me some ported 50cc saws, and having a few sizes handy to choose from. I'd like to find a 13" .325 bar for one of my 50cc saws. They're so common in the Scandinavian countries. I figure they must be worth a shot. My 346/350 wears an 18", but I think I would like it even more with a shorter bar.

My MMWS 261 C Ver II seems just right with 18" 3/8 square file on it. I use that little saw a lot!

That said, my good old 10 mm 044 got the bulk of the workout today. I know, them little bearings won't last long ...

I like it when saws are fun, I like to lean to the shorter bar for a cc class, many saws have the power to run a longer bar, and that adds versatility and can fill the gap and need for more saws, but on extreme ends may not be as fun, my 361 will pull a 28” bar just fine, but the balance is off and it doesn’t feel right, and my 461 is faster and handles perfectly with a lw 28” bar, it has enough power to run a 36” bar, but 661 pulls it way better, and on and on. Most guys can get away with less but more is better and more fun!! And vintage saws are just plain fun and look so cool, plus it reminds us where we have come from, and how state of the art they were at the time! I like to bring way more saws than I need, usually testing something out, or have a new to me saw that I want to compare to the heard to see if she is a keeper. I would rather be over prepared the under, I can’t stand it when I go cut something and...I left the correct saw at home....lol

My 3 saw plan ?

3 of each saw; although with the 122cc saws, I'm not sure that they would get past "upper level management" ........... might need to stick with a two saw plan for each of them

:)
