Watching someone bucking and the saw and bar look like a teeter totter going up and down.. i've never understood that technique.

I think it is a way of keeping chain speed and chip clearance up when cutting a log that is a little too big for the saw. The teeter totter causes the bar to contact less of the log at once, also the empty space behind the bar helps keep chips from getting stuck.

I see people doing it with 24 inch bars in 18 inch wood with decent size saw my guess is dull chains. Quite a difference from reaming and over bucking big wood.

Also the sloping back cut.
Only time I loan my saws out they come with an operator.
My bro in law is one of those teeter totter guys. He has probably cut 150 cords of wood with his ms290. He is always on the teeter totter when bucking. Even when i give him my 660 which will just self feed nicely he rocks it.

That Husqvarna can’t put decent stickers on their saws. How much can a good sticker cost compared to the crappiest ones that they use? Side cover sticker came off my 390 after about half a dozen tanks of fuel. Not that it matters, but they seem to be able to keep safety stickers in place forever. WTF?

Not sure if this has already been posted but..
When someone who clearly doesnt have a clue about using (and sharpening) chainsaws makes a "comparison" video and/or rigs the results in favor of sponsored saw ( battery chainsaw, im looking at ya)
Really makes me want to punch that person in the face.

Years ago I worked a landing with a salty logger who gently rocked his saw forward. He also marked length by chipping with his axe and would start his cut there.
At fueling and filing time he said it was all about blowing the bark and dirt (mud skidder logs) out of rather than into the cut.
He had the sharpest and best running saws I had seen at that time.
He was not you tube trained tho lol.
Later I helped with felling a huge semi hollow white oak. That convinced me that he was a logger and I was a cutter.

Guys who own one chain and use it till you can't tell the front of the teeth from the back and complain how much i have to grind off to get it sharp.

The guy who always does a 45 degree sloping back cut because that is how he was taught and complains when trees fall the wrong way.

Guys who never clean the bar slot or the oil holes or turn the bar over.

eBay again:

When a desirable saw is listed at a great price, but nobody's bidding. What are you guys seeing that I'm not? It's a trap, right?

Not necessarily, it could be that no other chainsaw freak came across that ad.

Check the ad thoroughly, wording of the text, attached pictures.
Keep an eye on it, bid the minimum the last minute before it times out.

I got my Dolmar PS-9010 that way, I was the sole bidder.
Maybe I got lucky.

Worst case scenario, You need to request a refund/open a case with eBay.
