A lot of 025 and ms250 saws around here. Only 1 uses a 20" bar, for extra reach in a bucket truck.
I sure as heck wouldn’t consider it a replacement for an 024 other than it being the same size saw because they for sure aren’t the same quality
Guy at work says, “I cut a lot of wood too” I ask what saws he runs, thinking maybe I just found a new firewood hauling partner. His answer 98% of the time: “oh, it a big one, like a 18 or 20 inch....
Both my sons know they would have to leave the country for good if they did that to meWhen my Son takes my ope to a dealer w/o me knowing and they charge the price of it new to muck it up.
I know I know, I've heard all the "reasons".
My fault for not getting right on it so he could use it,
that'll learn ya.

Maybe I missed it...
Watching someone start a cold saw and then pegging the throttle for a few seconds. Ooof. Physically makes me cringe.
Selling/Working on a saw to/for a neighbor then finding out, a few years later, the saw/work came with a lifetime warranty.
Plus what's been mentioned.
There are some people I think must have a strange syndrome where machinery just self destructs when they get near it.I sold a fairly nice 20 year old garden tractor to a relative. It always ran great for me and I cut my grass with it before he picked it up. It developed electrical gremlins within a week. I fixed it for him the first time, second time I just agreed to give him his money back. What really pissed me off was that he demanded a cash refund, like I was going to bounce a check on him or something. I let him borrow my super dependable Murray 12/38 to cut his grass while he picked out a new one, and it came back as a no start! Other than this, he is a great guy but he is never touching my machinery again.
Ebay Guy sent me a an old saw in the mail. Idiot didn't dump the rotten gas out of it and it leaked and soaked the package. Got a call from the local post office. Clerk there knows me well. Asked me to come down and pick it up before the postmaster filed a federal case against the shipper for shipping hazardous material in the mail. I let him know i saved his a$$ and he should dump the gas out next time. His reply was he didn't give a $h/t. Wish now they would have filed the case against him.
Pet peeve. Yeah, Dicks selling saws on Ebay.
