"You Suck" worthy?

Went to the local shop to pick up a few parts and walked out of there with 2 saws.

The first, a 262xp that they had taken in on trade. KS cylinder. 120 carb. Pressed on oil gear. Plastic chainbrake. Cubby hole fuel tank handle. I got it for $200. One of the nicest saws I've got in well... forever. Tons of compression. Starts and runs awesome. Tuned a little fat.

The second, a 266se that a customer had elected not to have repaired. Scored piston. I offered the customer $100 cash which he snapped right up. I gave him my number and told him that if he changes his mind in the next couple of weeks he can buy the saw back. Still has some compression so I'm fairly hopeful that the cylinder will clean up. Another jewel.

So I ask... Do I suck or what?

When you said a 100 for a scored 266 I though not so sure on that until I saw the pictures. Those are extremely clean saws. I would agree with the suckage

With the bars? You did good. I gave 75.00 for a scored 261 that was that clean and no bar and immediately flipped/traded it.

That 266 is super nice, and I would be surprised if the cylinder doesn't clean up.

I picked up a more used HDA120 262XP two weeks ago for $50. It runs really well.

And yes, you definitely got a "You Suck" deal.
