You are not only buying a tool from snap on but a service also, the truck stops by once a week, and if need something right away ,a phonecall away, same reason it buy stihl over other brands ,the shop has what i need today if i need something.

I didn't know stihl has a truck that stops by weekly? I can do the same just running to the dealer, likely quicker than waiting for the truck... and my dealer also delivers if I would like, and if they don't happen to have what I'm looking for in the brand I want, and I really need it they usually have it in another brand...or else I wait the same overnight shipping as anywhere else...but they try to stock 2 of everything, so I'm usually good!
when you bought your box, I don't believe they were *f-word ing customers over as hard as they do now, so it was probably worth it, but now a days they just rape the guy buying their stuff...50% of what your paying for is the name!
take a plain ole combination wrench...what makes snapon's version so *f-word ing special, that it costs more than double what a comparable brand does?...hell it could even be the same damn wrench just stamped with a different name!

ive got a lot of that going on at home...I don't even have a real toolbox at home, well actually I do have a *s-wordty crapsman that the drawers are all falling out of, that someone gave me...
at work i have an old friction slide Matco bottom box that i got for free, its a pretty heavy duty box...that holds most of my measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, squares, etc.) ive been looking for a top box to match it, but haven't had much luck?
and i also have a 56" Lista single bank 9 drawer bottom box that i use for hand tools...that *f-word er is heavy, i usually just move it with the forklift if i have to move it far...as the soft wheels make it hard to push...need to put steel casters on it!
huh huh.. steel casters,,with a nylon face,,or any ant pebble, will stop it....

that 044 and cummins are both close to their competitors price...snapon...not so much, unless they only consider the other "tool trucks" their competition?
whats the reason, you are down on snap-on so bad??? I'm like brian,,he stops once a week,,and hes damn good about any warranty item...fixes all my ratchets if they have a problem, NC...

Thems some big ole wrenches, even have the ends for hitting with a hammer. It'd take a separate building just to store them big boys.lol
The handle sure would help.
