Not sure if it will work or not, but I got a plan for my 246 crank (the one the flywheel bearing spun on), I got another crank who is the same but with a boken PTO axel, plan to contact a company who swap conrod bearings....

Just couldnt pass them up.

Back from the morning run picking up a 351 and 350. 351 he said dont start and thinks just fuel line. 350 runs and cuts good he said.
Few bumps, bruises and missing parts. Like cover clip bar nut and muffler bolt. Just hope the muffler bolt missing on 351 didnt take out the cylinder threads on the way out.

Didnt really want the 350 but to get the 351 had to buy both.

Looks like the nascar version, like black walnut their highly valuable :).
Why the concern about the threads when a 346 P&C is so cheap. I've got a 351 in the basement on the floor, not the bench lol. It's a runner, but I'd rather swap it out, or just sell it and get the real deal.

Soon as I get the MOFO 262 together today, then the 246 is up next, it cuts out in the cut and I can only get it to run 14,200. Should turn 15,000+.
something is chooking her, close 15k wot is where mine is tuned, none of my 242/246's like to run to fat.

I will definitely try that first, got the hda87 rebuilt and put on the MOFO 262 and she fired right up, gotta advance the timing yet and do a few little tweaks to get the full potential but I love it already! Hoping to get to the 246 by Monday, I will definitely try the coil first, gonna put new fuel line and filter in and check the tank vent also.

I dont worry about running 346 topends myself. They are just used for cutting wood.
Just soon keep them right for new owners.

Unless top needs replaced. Then will put whatever. Wood never complained yet.
