The fuel valve and fuel pump are located on the bottom of the fuel tank. The fuel valve is a slider that doubles as the stop switch.

That saw cleaned up really nice!!It is much simpler than the DO-101 I worked on last week.
That bar has an almost belligerent angle to it…It is much simpler than the DO-101 I worked on last week.

I have a chain soaking, hopefully it will clean up O.K. and I can finish this one tomorrow. Has spark...fuel tank is crusty and the metering diaphragm is stiff so that will be it for now.

That’s when I go through my ‘random Stihl schtuff’ box and hope…i hate when that stuff happens to me

I'm about 99% almost certain it was missing. It was oiling but just barely. It also didn't immediately reveal itself when I ordered another so it must've been missing.its not missing its on the floor. thats where mine waz... lol

Good luck with the 076! I worked on an 075 and it wasn't until I was replacing the oil seals that I realized that someone did a mod and modded a 051 chassis to work with the 076 equipment. The 051 has two different sized oil seals and I couldn't figure out why the 075 oil seals would not fit, plus there are two different throttle linkages for the 075 and I needed the longer one which is NLA and nowhere to be found, all of the ones for sale are the shorter version. I ended up having to make a new one from a bicycle spoke. I also had to re-timesert the cylinder studs, they were all wiggly like a 6-year olds front teeth...what a pain that saw was!!Next project to start on, NOS 076 super and baby bro 041 super
