Best nursing hires here are Filipino. nail artists are Vietnamese, Ukranians are carpenters, Hmong are poachers.
Generally speaking. You can tell which Ukranian carpenters are new arrivals by their track suit pants and members only jacket.
So, a Ukrainian killed Tony Soprano?

There must be a gene or something. I hired a general contractor to do some remodeling; one member of the crew was a Vietnamese guy who was probably the best finish carpenter ive ever seen. One of his coworkers offhandedly mentioned that he was also a nail artist. I guess attention to detail spans professions.
Yes, I sponsored the whole family and now all my brother in-laws are floor, finishing carpenters and they do stellar work

Echo 9010 blower crankcase. The fan side bearing is a good Japanese NTN but this is the second one I’ve seen with a failed cage. Both times the units were run without oil and it seems this is the first thing to fail, even before enough scoring takes place to lower the compression.

Will the head gasket make up the difference?

The spec is .001” per cylinder so a v8 head needs to be warped less than .004”. In other words it was within spec before I started but not great. now it’s less than .0015 so that’s quite good.

The 450 is starting to look a lot nicer. I have been repeatedly washing and scrubbing it to get the caked on crap off. It’s probably the most deeply dirty saw that I’ve ever dealt with.

The other Jonsereds 910e is also cleaning up nicely. Replaced a rear AV bushing and rear handle assembly. This is going to get new fuel tank vent, impulse line, fuel line and filter, and carb kit.
