Bar, chain ,sprocket, clutch drum look very new,
saw has some time on it @155 comp,,,
I don't know about that. Unmolested, 155 is about as good as it gets. From my experience, that saw with a bunch of time on it would be well under 140. I wouldn't even bother looking under the muffler were it mine.

Shindaiwa 360 that got a complete rebuild. Has had fuel issues ever since. Idles fine, cuts great. But, jostle around and it dies. Kinda acts like an air leak but not quite...no surging at idle or wot. V&p test were good before I buttoned it up.
The tank vent tube was shot (missed it before) so just replaced that, tried another new filter, fuel line was replaced at rebuild. I guess the next thing to do is another p&v test, sigh...nos carb but I've rebuilt it anyway since it was 30yrs old :p
I'd like to get this figured out as it is a great little, 11# saw.

Well, p&v passed, carb passed...hmm...
No air leaks
Has to be some sort of fuel delivery issue. Vapor lock? I filled the tank about half way so the filter is well immersed.
