I started tearing down my 670 Super, so far it needs a carb rebuild, fuel lines, a new clutch-side seal, a piston, and an oiler gear for it to be functional, but I’ll have to figure out a top cover later. One interesting thing I found is when I pulled the carb apart a Welch plug was just floating loose in there! A sharp hammer blow cured that, but I wonder how/why it got loose.

Generac 7550EXL. Complaint was starts and dies. Diagnosed as a faulty oil pressure switch for the low oil pressure shutdown. It also needs a battery and a service.

Hey what brand batteries are best for these generators. The one that came with my generac never even lasted a year and wont hold a charge.
My BIL replaced his (not sure of brand) and it never lasted long either.

Got the little snowblower on the bench. Trying to figure out how to get the carb off to clean. The back pannel don't come off.
Nkt much room to run a wrench in ther.
May be easyer to pull the little motor out and get running on the bench.

Just go to a Walmart or something. Grab the cheapest battery. I'm assuming it's equivalent to a lawnmower. I get about 3 years from them.
