Thanks Mason!
Called my dealer (Ganos Power Equipment in Colchester CT) and they actually have one in stock. Very surprised.
It's ok, the guy offered me my money back and said he was sorry but I ended up keeping it and he gave me half the money back.I'm not gonna like that post Ronie! That sucks. Sorry...
It's for a cheap build and I think the insert will hold up.If it's a real good jug, maybe think of having the plug opening welded up and then retap it.
I know some guys on here do nice work.
Thanks for the tip, I didn't think about using JB Weld.Jb weld is better... but see how that holds up for you.
That’s a 440 jug. Mostly the same, minus the decomp and slightly different intake and transfers. Be careful running it on a 10mm 044. Mark the upper transfers and make sure the ring ends won’t hang.I bought an 044 jug off ebay and it turned out that the spark plug threads were stripped.

It's for an 036/044 hybrid so I'm stuck with a 10mm piston. I'll check the ring ends today and see how it looks. That’s a 440 jug. I still have a couple 044 slant fin cylinders if you want one
