Both Echo backpack blowers got serviced with plugs, air filters and fuel filters. Just waiting for the rope spool for the PB-650.

Looked at a Briggs 775 on a pressure washer that suddenly died on him. Engine has a cam with plastic gear and lobes which has appeared to have failed. Looked up parts for an estimate. I'm estimating $150 for parts and labor.

Toro 521 got picked up as well as a Tecumseh powered Toro Recycler 22 front drive.

Called the guy with the pressure washer and he's going to think about it for a day or two and get back to me

My friend gave me 2 of these 325s
I fixed them today
He's buying it back for the parts price

He can have it
I'm left handed and these handlebar's suck.
The other one is a loop handlebar
I'll keep
They run good.

Lefty as well…don’t give a damn about those RH throttle/handlebar setups.

Need to finish up a top handle 020 Super and a 10mm slant fin 044 so I can work on the latest project - '87 F350 4x2, 460, C6, "ran when parked" truck that I picked up a few days ago. Looked like hell, but cleaned up good. Damn truck is rust-free, too! Runs but needs tune and carb rebuild. Already have an F350 (crew cab, long bed, 4x4, 7.3 IDI-turbo, ZF-5, SRW), so this one will likely be s0ld soon.

Finished up the PB-650 which was just a recoil repair. Both are good to go now. She's coming to pick them up tomorrow.

Next up is a Generac 7550 that starts and dies. I'm suspicious of the oil pressure switch which is a common failure. It's also getting a new battery and a service.

Also have an Ariens tractor to finish.

This thing got tossed into storage 20 years ago not long after I bought it new. The gas went bad and buggered the carb. Stihl wanted more than half of what I paid for it new to buy a replacement carb. I bought a new. FS94 instead. Just got around to picking up a new Walboro at a decent price for it.P_20211030_152559.jpg

The 74 and 76 were great trimmers. My all-time favorite was the FS-66 - that was the best lightweight trimmer I ever had.

Hung out with a buddy today for a few hours. We got one of his br700s going again. Didn't take much. Swapped the carb and purge bulb off a blown br600 he had. Fired it up and was smoking like a freight train. Wouldn't throttle up but I heard the problem instantly, which was a clogged spark arrestor screen. Removed it and tossed. Fired it back up and running sweet. Let it run at full tilt for a few minutes to burn off the excess oil from the muffler. Good to go. I also showed him how to fog out the outboard on his boat. BSed about life and other things while chilling for a while. Great afternoon.

Customer who is trying to go commercial on lawn care brought me a mower for not cutting right. I examined the blades and found this, called him and he said it only had 400 miles on it and couldn't understand why the blades were worn so bad. I asked 400 miles and he said yes so I asked where his odometer was. He was referring to the hour meter, so I asked how long had it been since it was serviced, oil, oil filter etc, he said he was waiting on it to hit 3000 miles. Oil was bad and there was very little left. I explained to him there was no odometer only an hour meter. Needless to say he felt stupid 20211102_110812.jpg

I custom-designed a matching inner 395 Pro Safety spike to match up with an outer my brother got with a 395 in a box, and my family decided the pattern would have made a good jack-o-lantern template.

Maybe you could carve the pumpkin with the 395 that would be a show
