i'm glad its not major and that no-one was hurt, vehicle still seems jinxed to me tho mate.

She's just an old girl. 2006 with 150k miles. PTU is a common failure on AWD Fords, flex pipe was due to age and tires were due to age/mileage. As far as I know those are the 3rd set of tires on it in its life.

Buddy's 391 for a quick service and tuneup. New plug and fuel filter. Cleaned air filter and under top cover. Cleaned clutch cover and sprocket area. Tweaked idle circuit slightly. Making a few cuts when I have light to do it.

I worked on one of these earlier this year. The muffler bolts kept working loose and they actually cracked the oil tank by dropping a tree on it the 3rd time it was used from new! Accidents happen, and they just empty the oil out every use . Other then that the saw cuts pretty decent.

In all my tinkering it just dawned on me I have a Toro little two cycle snow blower .We haven't had enough snow in the last few years to even bother with .I just use one of the Stihl blowers .
It's kind of a neat little thing and has a plug in electric starter .I might just fiddle with it . If it's not stuck it might fire up .
If we do get much snow which is unlikely I have a big two stage in my shop .That one I think is 10 or 12 HP with a track drive and will blow snow about 30 feet .I bought it for my son from a guy moving to Florida for about 30 percent of what they sold for .--right place right time .

Yep, MS280C. First time one has been on my bench.....and hopefully the last. Junk, and not worthy of the Stihl name IMHO.

Not looking good for my ride. Got up to the body shop the other day and it got hit harder than I thought. Fender and hood got it pretty good and the mounts for the bumper support on the unibody got bent when the support was ripped off. This evening I returned the rental and picked up an 08 Ranger from mom and dad for the meantime. Also got the invoices for the transfer case and tires. Cleaned out my stuff from it too. The other person's insurance is looking at it Monday.
