Thanks. Those 32/35/38cc McCulloch saws are not bad to work on, replace the oil line(s) while you're at it since they are also prone to failing when the fuel lines are bad.

That forum started out good but ended up a little not so good .I wouldn't lose much sleep over what a few Walter Mitty types of arm chair mechanics have to say . Lots of nonsense they probably gleaned from You Tube .Ignore them .. I was told by a bunch of Arboristsite members that was I an idiot and a doofus for doing so.
Funny thing about it - he got a solid three years of service out of that saw cutting big wood before his partner ran it over. He still has the carcass and the bottom end is still good on it.
Been working on this one on and off between customer saws, finally got the cylinder cut, just taking my time in this one. Heated handles, 7910 piston, custom green. Should perform very well I hope.View attachment 272020
had the cases powder coated, then I dyed the plastic parts, it's best to start w new plastic parts, these were all new parts. How'd you make it green? I want a green saw...
Looks good! I've thought about doing an OD green one like the British Army saws.had the cases powder coated, then I dyed the plastic parts, it's best to start w new plastic parts, these were all new parts.
