Another NY saw...5105 needed some cleaning (carb, oil pump and lines)
Slapped a NOS bar on it and some square chain.
Needs a muffler mod (cat delete)
All I had nearby was some cedar but it didn't stand a chance...![]()

Yes NY saw...Another NY saw...
Factory square?
I have the chance to get some 6202 C4 Nachi bearings for relatively cheap. Anyone have experience with the c4 vs the c3?
I understand the c3 is rated plenty high rpm/tolerance for the 372 these bearings are going into, but is the higher rpm/tolerance going to cause any issue? IE rate of heat expansion (or lack thereof) on looser tolerances?
Sounds like a girl I used to know.... Or 10....C3 are already loose tolerances as far as bearings go. I think c4 might be too loose

Just finished port work on @crackerbuilt MS661. Waiting on the rest of the parts to assemble. Here's what we're starting with View attachment 153383
How fitting a former chef receives a box of busted saw in a restaurant dish tub. Lol! Steve got this saw for free. It has about 20 minutes run time. Shouldn't be a stretch to figure out what happenedHere's some port work pics. I'll post an update when everything is here to assemble.
