Waiting on a maxflow from HLSupply and forgot to order the handle cover that goes behind the clutch cover. Had the cylinder on by 4:30. A few random pieces went missing and had to comb my parts stash, then fought a few pieces that had to be "massaged " to fit.View attachment 153425View attachment 153426 View attachment 153427

Case fit was dead nuts up front and off a whisper off in the back. For those keeping score on the QC front. Took .035 from the band and .020 from the base. Factory gasket installed with .020 squish. Muffler mod tomorrow. Time for an adult beverage

If you took more from the band than from the base, and still ended up with .020 w/gasket, that cylinder was tight!

How fitting a former chef receives a box of busted saw in a restaurant dish tub. Lol! Steve got this saw for free. It has about 20 minutes run time. Waiting on parts sucks, especially when I ordered 6202 bearings and received 6203. None of the saws i’m currently working on require those, so they will stay in the freezer

My at work workbench. 09 Silverado transfer case. 4wd slips.
These use a clutch for auto 4 and 4wd.
Too much clutch pack clearance plus a weak motor equals 2wd only..

We dont see too many issues with these, but yes I do too.
Im not real fond of sometimes 4wd or clutch driven 4wd.

I want to know im either going to spin the rears or all 4, not spin the rears then have the front grab.
