Ok so i will try it again later to see if i get the same results. I just turned it over from the flywheel by hand. I will use a drill and see if it changes my measurements.I’ve learned a thing or two about squish measuring over the years.
As you all know, find the solder that’s closest to the squish you are measuring.
When you turn an 019 squish saw over with 024 solder, you will barely (if any) feel resistance. I now turn all of my saws over with a portable drill from the crank nut for squish measurement. My old .020 were really more like .016. Point is, if you can still feel the piston hit the solder, you’ve gotta turn it more.
