Well my ms460 build got dealt a serious kick iView attachment 17004 n the head today.

Clean it up real good and try some Gorilla glue before you spend any money on it.

I've got one like that too. I'm gonna dowel it, V it, and hog a bunch out first. Then either kitty hair or mesh

If I was the owner I would have done that to about half the customer's equipment I have worked on! LOL But I enjoy my job most of the time so.....

Mine I did a little different. I cut the front mount off another busted handle and grafted it on. I cut two two small pieces of oak to fit snugly inside, then glued them in, and used a soldering gun and some strips of the busted handle as filler to 'weld' them together.

Then I filled the sides and 'welded' them in, and pre-drilled and screwed all the way through both sides for good measure.


Cleaned up and a little paint. It feels really strong, but I guess time will tell...

You could probably JB Weld the handle/wood/filler strips together with good results, as well. That is some good *s-word.
