Had to set mine aside and work on the paying saws.

Then sharpen chains that came in yesterday.

Why oh why do they disassemble them and leave in a box for years. Fun little puzzle.

Got a surprise today
A 99 371xp from my old friends saw shop
S&A lawn and timber
The lady that ran that shop knew more
About husky's than any man around here
i know lol
My 288 is from her shop.
He copied my gb bar with spray paint.
Won't run he said.20180628_131240.jpg 20180628_131223.jpg

It's had a rough life
Nice muffler mod cut a path through the top cover and brake.
The bar he painted glued the bar to the plate
I had to rip it loose.
Comps way down I'll see what he wants
To do.20180628_145055.jpg 20180628_145332.jpg 20180628_151016.jpg 20180628_162138.jpg 20180628_151436.jpg

Update... I was determined to find a good solution to the 046 impulse that’s not proprietary. I rooted through my junk pile and found a 670 johnny with a oem impulse in good shape with the protective sleeve over it as well... so it won’t wear a hole in the line rubbing on the tank when the AV is moving. Transferred that to the 046 and looks pretty good! 084’s have a separate line for impulse like this and they endure tougher abuses so I don’t see how this won’t work...View attachment 130445

That's a whole lot of blasphemy skipping over a 670 for a boat anchor if you ask me.

I decided to replace it with a black echo fuel line, I remembered I used it before on a jonsered 930 for impulse and that’s a much larger hotter running saw
The echo line works well. I melted the tygon on my 7900. Switched it to echo and it's been fine

It'll melt off the barbed fitting on the case on a hot day. Did it once myself
I had several failures and a couple of saw's returned.
About 8 year's ago
I bought tygon from a local dealer
But it could have been knockoff who knows.
Switched to echo no issue's.

Why do people take apart saws then throw em in a box?

Because they were gonna fix it themselves!

The Husky 365 in a tub that was given to me was free as long as i returned the plactic tub .

Tygon will come off the carb barbs when you throw the saw in a hot truck after replacing the lines.
Put it back on a few times then it stays on long enough to rot, dissolve, turn to mush or shrink and break.

I wouldn't be complaining about a free 365...hell I'm happy with half a saw.
