Just looking out buddy. I bought my oh34 missing that ring and didn't run good. Install a ring ran good ever since

What's the fix? Convert back to XP?

I don't know what oil was used in this thing. But it was so black and sticky on the bottom end. It looked like old burnt gear oil.

I can get you a new XT top end for about 80.00. Then you need a good crank. Nothing really wrong with the XT......

I'd go with a new OEM crank. Husky cranks come in a kit with bearing included.
