That 254 is a great saw. Might surprize you,,My first huskys to tear into ($75 CL find)
I’m a Stihl guy but couldn’t say no!
365 special- needs a top end and some TLC (top cover, tank repair or replace, smalls etc)
61- running, needs a chain brake band and some smalls
254 - will run with fuel poured into the carb - needs fuel system work and a clutch cover/chain brake

That should be obvious Sir, as should the “who did it” question
With enough practice, a pile of monkey crap could look like cutting edge art

Strap-On did Work that’s just unbelievable.
Sanded that band with some rotary sander. Not sure that jug is worth fixin, but it would be interesting to find out.
Any sanding marks on the base?
Stuff like this makes me cringe now. Unbelievable how many saws he’s screwed up.Of course

The amount of work you two have done to help others out is humbling. Especially for me, since I have received help on several saws.
Belt sander bandit strikes again.
Need parts Kevin?
I don’t know if I got it the worst or not, but I must be up there. The positive side of it, for me, is that Al and especially Kevin have helped me get them running and performing properly again.Yeah you may have gotten the worst of everyone... [emoji35]
