They are white knuckle saws with no AV but are really good for the money.
I wouldn't get one for firewood over a 660.
Good for milling or converting to 090 so you can start it and make small children cry
I ran one all day year's ago an old 090 that was enough for me lol.
But a couple of guy's i know are talking about them.
I would get the 660 myself.

Next to my bench at the shop, Oregon
Got an 07 a/c dvx 400 running real good yesterday....she'll pull the front wheels off the ground.
Then got another champion generator running.....this one came complete with a big fat black widow.......I decided not to use my usually killing method.....soak in carb cleaner and a torch( :flamethrower2:) so the pressure washer had to do.

I've had several 090 and 070s over the years.......never felt the need to hang onto a one of em.

242, no wonder why the crank moved with tension, whoever put in new bearings never got it correct....picture is without bolts, pay attention to the oil tank (this case is a perfect example why those crank mounting kits is worth every dolar)

good thing is that the pto bearing goes nice and smooth ;) in company with one I took out from an 44 :D)

A buddy of mine cuts firewood and Mills slabs for a living, he Is rough on saws. I've seen his saws after being caught on fire from a wonky clutch to just flat being ran over by equipment. But when he brings me a saw cause he can't get it to run because of...

That one looks like an extra trip through the wash bin may be in order.
Here's a MS250 I was graced with.

I just fixed a weed wacker for a guy that was maybe worth 20 bucks. They wanna drag it in I'll fix it but the rates still the same.

Exactly!

Another "good" one I had come in.....034 from Provo City Fire Department. Apparently some of the firefighters think they know what they are doing. They greased the needle cage bearing on the clutch, but forgot to put the dished washer back on. The bearing disintegrated, taking out the worm gear, and oil line. The clutch drum did a number on the oil pump, but it still is functional, just missing some surface metal.
I ended up having to clean out the pto side twice to remove all bits of the bearing.

Both will end up as part saws, a shame with the 242, all of us thought it was mainly Mahle jugs and a bit more rare with Gilardoni, well, they had KS jugs also... Unfortantly this one is scored bad. I had @Landmark in my mind when I grabbed her, nevertheless those G parts will head his way ;)

44 top end will head for @DSS

what models does the crank pullers work on?
