Or look at the top of the case extension on the starter side next to the muffler.Go by the SN to determine if it is a 10 mm, but all the slant fins usually run real well.
What you charge to cut squish and base on a 026 pro? I may be intrested in a compression bump. Two 44.7mm MS260 jugs. One for Rodney and one for a clean MS260 PRO I'll probably keep for myself.
Bases cut and plating chamfered. I'll cut the bands tonight.
So much for taking time off of saw work. A good buddy had an issue with his father's MS260 and I couldn't resist. I've got a soft spot for building someone's fathers saw.

If you want it to run well, you need port work after dropping the jug. What you charge to cut squish and base on a 026 pro? I may be intrested in a compression bump.
Porting has been played with and as a oh26 fanatic you are I'm shure you would love how this saw runs. I'd be willing to bump my transfer port back up a bit if needed but this Lil *b-word runs. Only catch is im a base gasket guy. I know they can be sealed up good without a gasket but I like to have a base gasket to help keep harmonic vibes down and a stupid sense that a gasket can help keep a case and bearings cooler than metal to metalIf you want it to run well, you need port work after dropping the jug.
Cutting the stock band out, sanding the chamber to match the piston, and cutting the base (to yield .020 squish) on a 44mm 026 jug will yield
