Husky 254 year 87 week 17, thin ring piston, my favourite model by 254. Luckily I have two of those small combustion chamber KS jugs.
Unfortantly piston ring is NLA, also this ring is very special how the piston ring rod is made.
Anyone know if 'Caber 45,00 1,00 G30H GH. SF.* OPEM Chainsaw K1' can be used?

No gasket, squish 0,007", unlike 1,50 mm c&p who have no squish distance. I gone play a bit with different cylinder combination this time, before I finish the project. It will also get HDA-120 carb.

Finally got a little time to get my decals on. Need to go through the carb yet and a few other little things but it's getting closer.

oh my! glad I axed... I could not have imagined. nice work. I see the cyl over there, u still using it? piston in it, I don't see one... 85 cc... quite a transformation... I mean, really! :)
I have a few of them so I just picked some of the better pieces to put this one together.

good pix of piston side and circlip... which is the preferred position of the opening? I have read down twds the crankcase... I see this one is 90 out... wondering what is preferred? services best, or they rotate? as tight as they are to get in, don't seem to me they would rotate...
