And finally this little Sears. I haven't really looked at this one much. I think it might be a parts saw or end up being a shelf queen. It won't even pull over. Get about a 1/4 turn and it locks up solid.image.jpg

I've got a Husky 350 that could go back together tomorrow (just received the metal intake clamp today). Out in my garage, I've got a Husky 51 (burnt up top end) that I'll probably redo as a 55.

On the 350, I've read lots of posts about installing a 346XP top end on the 350 bottom. What's the benefit of such a combination? Thanks for helping me understand this...

I FINALLY got it all back together & happily running (with some online help by @Mattyo ). Initially, I'd installed a rebuild kit in the original Zama EL32 carb, but ended up being unable to tune the saw. The idle RPMs were varying up & down all over the place. I got a new EL32 (actual Zama), and installed it tonight. The saw started right up & was easily tuned by tachometer.

So just to update on the Poulan 5200. I don't think it's worth fixing :(. The top end is toast. The fw side case is busted, there is a lot of play in the crank. Plus it's gonna need all the fuel lines replaced, a carb kit etc. I think it would be a better parts saw. Oh well. I'm gonna talk with my buddy and see what he want to do with it.
Now the homelite super mini actually runs. Needs a carb kit and a few rubber bits replaced. Should be an easy fixer upper.
