One of my buddy's was looking to swap one of those into his A4. He didn't get very far and sold the A4 and the donor motor. Looks awfully tight and an A4 I'm sure has less room.

Yeah I couldn't imagine trying to swap it into a smaller engine bay. The rain has me inside at the moment

Still sittin here at home. Boss wanted me to make a few cuts with it, but the weather has been bad and my log pile is under water.....not literally....but close.....

Did you get her done? A Porsche club from Kansas City rents out the local road course track here in Topeka and this dude in a Audi wagon had some serious cash under the hood cause when he it the strait away you could here those turbos and it would flat out pass everything

Worked on this most.of the day yesterday,.cleaned every bolt by hand, need a ultrasonic cleaner for sure, this 288 had its issues on the outside but was all good inside. I ordered a new used tank handle, top handle, clutch cover with metal brake,muffler, as well as av buffers,on/off switch, wiring, fuel line, filter. Still missing a gd used low top cover, might have to go AM on that. Should be a nice saw when done.

Sold this to a customer 2 yrs ago and was my personal 254 xp before that. Parts can be time consuming to find now ...strong runners though.
