Left handed drill bits are your friend when drilling out broken bolts. If you don't have any they are well worth the investment. Irwin makes a nice extractor kit that includes a good assortment of them.

Yes. Used mine just the other day. Ugly buggered up(and wrong) screw for the intake boot retainer on a Shindaiwa 680 jug. Backed right out.

Still trying to work on the 310 for the fire district.

Just brought a 441 magnum home to look through that is blown up. Might be buying this to rebuild. Unit had around 11 tanks ran through it and the 12th was straight fuel. Any ideas what I should offer?

Here is a 7900 I picked up, took it part and the piston had some issues, the cylinder cleaned up very easily, might have been able to savethe piston, but I opted to call Miller Mod Saws, Carl has 1 on the way to me, he is a great guy to work with. Should have it back together very soon.

A worker of a Local brick mason didn't know the nut on the clutch side was left hand thread and snapped the crank. He's got a big job today so he picked up a 500i.

Oh yeah their a beast. I'm waiting on a 500i to come in blown up. I want to try and adapt everything on a 661. The control module might have to sit on the top cover but I think it could be done

With the broken EZ out in the hole, I was not able to go very deep, so I figured inserting steel was best.
Great ingenuity Mike.

It's really easy to get these out with a tig if they're not too deep in the hole. Simply add a bead to the bolt tip. The mag won't wanna melt because it conducts heat faster and the weld heat will free the threads. Grab with a vice grip and they screw right out.

Do you think the displacement difference can be handeld by the control unit? MS 661 is 91,1cc and TS 500i is 72,2cc. I don`t know, but a MS 440, 441, 460 or 461 would be nearly the same displacement like the TS 500i.

True I'll have to look into that. Looking at everything else looks doable. If the flywheel will mount and coil is the problem I haven't researched. If I could get past that the rest is possible. Installing the injector doesn't seem hard. I don't see getting my hands on trashed one for a while but who knows
