Inserted 2 more nuts into MS 461s for the chain catch. One the bolt was broken off deep again, and it snapped another one of my EZ outs when I tried to remove it. The second one, the hole was already enlarged and oblong the whole way, so I just made it a little larger and inserted the nut. Been using that Loctite PL Premium for lots of stuff, the only downside is the dry time.

Tried to get another 460 running by changing the coil. Darn think seemed to kick a few times, but never seemed right. I'm gonna pull the flywheel to see if the key is sheared.

Randy's 066 is scheduled to arrive by COB tomorrow, really looking forward to running it before tax season, but my phone is already ringing off the hook, and my Mother In Law went into the hospital today (they are keeping her over night) with a possible stroke, so I'm just gonna have to play it by ear.

Hope your wife's mom comes out OK Mike.

Thanks for the info. How's mamma's Pneumonia?? I know it can hang on for a while. Hope she's feeling better.

She's better.....but I have a cough I can't shake. I've done a round of antibiotics, but they ain't helping. Looks like I'll be going to the doc....

It must be contagious today. I had a 290 that came in for a sharpening. Then he's says while your at it make sure it starts. Well if you can believe it. It started but wouldn't idle but 5 sec. compression was 115

Take care of yourself there Randy, the antibiotic don't work on everything, ya gotta stay strong. Glad to hear Glenda is better.

And thanks! We will likely know more tomorrow. My wife will be going down to the hospital, and I'll be dog sitting! She is in that mid 80s range, a dangerous time.

Yeah you better. Them bovine antibiotics won't cure everything. Lol

Glad the wife's doing well.

Nice deflectors. I might have to copy the 562 design. Hope they aren't patented.[emoji12]

Copy away my friend.

Brazed? Looks like you could love having a small tig pack.

I've never tried tig welding.....someday maybe.

Dang! Must be! This one ran ok as well...would actually idle and take a throttle. But there was nothing for compression. Yesterday was backwards chain day for us. lol

not always antibiotica work, you may be imune for a few types Randy, just like me.
A visit to Dr and different type antibiotica may do wonderful things.
Wish a speedy recovery for you Randy.

That's the way it was for my wife. It took a couple different ones before she finally got better.
