Gearing up to finally use lathe for bands

Is it possible that is a harbor freight lathe?

New AM jug. I'm not taking my maiden voyage with something of value.


I believe OMTM, good quality Chinese lathe with milling attachment. I'm pretty happy with it and it sure beats the old Craftsman/Atlas 618 I had been using.

Is it the 7" or 10" one?
How do you know it's good quality. There are a lot of brands with a few different features but most look like they are made side by side with different paint and stickers. I've been skeered to buy one...

Ok Men my project for today is this it had a AM cylinder on it hooked a ring so I tore it down checked it out cleaned it out flushed the case replace the cylinder with OEM

I know I give up a bit making the ex round as I do, but sure don't like hanging rings either.

Yeah I hear that Joe I don't like the roof on the am Kit's with out some work they are way flat for my liking.

On a side note if your oven is busy with cake you can use the BBQ. That's what I've been doing. Works good
