It happens. I had a old 200x that would need a plug every couple years. It was my main transportation for several years when I was a kid so I got to know it pretty well.

some of them trans tool are not cheap either. what type 4 wheeler do you have and what are the symptoms

it depend what you mean, I saw one the news that lightning killed about 300 reindeer on the flat mountain area in Norway.
We dont have reideers where I live, but , where Sawtroll live, they have them even in their garden

So it's a flat bearing in the big end? You gonna try to fix the weld job or find a new crank?

May have to weld more up and then turn it down on the lathe and then thread it.
