Well, technically it was on my shop floor most of the tinker time.
I fixed & upgraded this cutter for a good friend.
The red pipes were the OEM ones, they failed so I replaced them with thicker walled and longer ones.
Function tested on 10mm/.38" steel.

The jaws are rated for up to 18mm soft steel (up to 15HRC) and 13mm alloyed steel which is quite impressive.
The only difference is the OEM supplied pipe/handle length.

If he did it or not
It's got loctite now IMG_20241109_132012.jpg

After a bit of cleanup I got it to pull fuel and almost run correctly. I'll add a new metering / and pump side diaphragms and give it another go.

Oiler is not pushing anything at all.
Has anyone have any experience with this little mighty beast.
I'm trying to get it going for a good buddy without getting to deep.
@ray benson or others do you have an IPL and / or manual for this monster?

Seems to be a ripper. I haven't tested in the wood yet, but I got the squish to 21 thou. Running a new Caber ring on top, old worn one on bottom. Compression felt pretty strong when starting.
I see Steve got your account fixed.

Very few saws have such a wide factory squish band, small combustion chamber and such high compression (with a base gasket). All without a decomp! Guess what it is.

Time to work on the straight-gassed 261 that I bought for $50.
